I dropped my 8x and the screen cracked

What can I do. I don't have any protection. I don't know what to do. Can someone help?

The screen is an easy replacement but they tend to be pricey.

Yeah same happened to me. Luckily, the Gorilla Glass kept it to just one little fracture. I've heard horror stories about people replacing the screen and damaging the LEDs and stuff man. I think you should either take to a pro or just live with it. A phone like this isn't as easy a DIY as some thick, crappy, 150$ Android phone.
