Marketplace Updates stopped on 920

Hi all

a few weeks ago I had to reset the phone to factory defaults as the background tasks had stopped working.

For about a week to 10 days all was working fine, now the marketplace updates have stopped appearing automatically.

The only way to get an update is search for the update in the store manually.

I have tried the usual tricks of clearing IE cache and repinning the store and also tried adding a new keyboard and removing the keyboard but nothing is working.

I reported it to Microsoft but they have no idea why it is failing and advised they need to look into the matter and it may be 3 months before they get back to me.

All other functions on the phone seem to be working fine (background tasks ect)

Does anyone have any other ideas or steps I can try to get the updates working?

It looks like you have tried all the suggestions I've seen in various other threads around the forums. If something new pops up, will try to post it here or at least post a link.

My updates have started coming earlier they were generally after 1 am when I first got the 920 now today I had three before 8 PM not complaining sorry for those experiencing this issue!
