Is the 1020 going to save the photos in RAW format? From what I read/heard it will be only JPEG which is kind of a shame.

Would be nice to have RAW option hidden away somewhere.

Particularly given GSMArena's preview has suggested 1020 has less natural imaging process.

Can't please everyone.

While you could take far less photos in RAW with only 32gb memory, I think a lot of people would still like the option to do it even if it meant more frequent Phone-PC syncs to empty the memory.

I hope Nokia enables an option to produce in RAW format in a future update.

Forget slower processing on the phone - heck my i7 laptop would struggle with 41MP raw file!

5MP raw would be interesting - provided it doesn't clash with supersampling.

A 41MP RAW file! That should be huge! The RAW files from my 12MP Canon EOS 1100d are typically about 17MB large, so a 41MP should probably be about 58MB! I don't think a phone could be able to handle a file that large.

A RAW 36MP image (the largest you can have on the 1020) would not fit as it will be substantially larger than the 32 GB total available storage on the phone.
