When playing a song the volume just fixes on a particular level and then does not respond if I increase or decrease the volume. Even if the volume is zero the music plays on 30.
Took it to the Nokia Care and problem was solved for a couple of weeks but started again. The soft as well as the hard reset does not help....
    Please help...

Am having the same problem with my Lumia 920. Got it in the month of January, from India. After restarting the phone, it works fine. But this problem pops up once in a while. Anyone tried sending a report to Nokia regarding this issue??

I was also facing the problem on my lumia 620...I noticed it was due to some apps that try to access music hub APIs...like before somedays ago whatsapp was also one of the reason.. now if you have selected sync videos with music hub in metrotube this problem peeks up... so I suggest don't let any app access music API.. though I didn't found any issues with nokia music..

Yes, this bug really does exist. I am not sure it's nokia's problem. I am using Nokia Lumia 620. I have tried rebooting and factory reset. It keeps coming back. But I noticed something. If you only use windows players (Music+videos), you won't face any issue. When you install other music players and use them, such as, Nokia music, Musixmatch, ttpod, Listen, then the bug rises and the volume remains the same even if it is adjusted. Reboot/factory reset will only give temporary solution. When we use the external music apps, the bug rises again. It's highly likely that it could be because of OS.

yes...its like MS is pulling Nokia's leg from rising...actually I had better music experience on my Xpress Music phone of just Rs.5000 than 15k lumia 620

I had this issue after installing and using stop music for killing the audio API.. Once I stopped using the "stop music" and let the player linger when the vol button is pressed the problem never reoccured. Give it a try if it works for you too.. Could be an bug in the audio API..
