I don't think Nokia has anything planned for the near future. I tweeted them about 1020 and they replied saying they will be tweeting back when device is released.

Time to #switch from WP8 people. I'm super disappointed with Nokia and Microsoft's callous approach to the Indian market. The handsets are launched here almost 6 months after being announced and just feature as coming soon on the Nokia India site, and once they do arrive in India officially, the handsets or the requisite colours are not available every where.

The biggest problem about them not launching is that Nokia will further delay the release of GDR2 update for existing lumia phones until after their launch.

I am positive that they will launch either 925/1020 in India this Month.
Since its available in Singapore and Philippines now.
After which it is released in India.
Although I feel they shouldn't release 925 at all and just go ahead with 1020.
since 925 is just an improvement over the 920 and s4/HTC one already beat it at means levels.

Just a heads up. It's rumored that Nokia is planning to launch 2013 series of phones sometime in Sept 2013, (annual refresh to the line-up and sequels to 920 and 820). Possibly with updated hardware and GDR3 (1080p support) and the works. Now does it make sense to go in for the 925 or wait another 6 months for these phone to come to India?

I really don't think they are going to kill their 925 and 928 sales so quickly.

I believe 928 is a Verizon exclusive (USA only) and as Mr. Elop had iterated during the 925 launch, "925 is not our new flagship, its a different perspective on 920."

IMO, If MSFT and NOK don't step up to the plate and come up with a new device to replace the aging 920 (atleast in the people's perception, its a 12 month old device now); they will have a tough time making inroads in the market. With 2013 iteration of iPhone (possibly a low cost variant) and Note 3 lined up for launch, WP8 camp needs some new flagships to increase market share.
