headset jack not working - HELP

Hi,

I recently noticed that the buttons on my headset jack (which came bundled) have stopped functioning. The mic also doesn't work anymore.
I am not sure what happened. I haven't used my headset roughly.

Please help. Is it under warranty too?

I am talking about the standard Nokia headset (handsfree) that comes bundled with Nokia Lumia 920.
