So if you ordered a white 1020 (or even previously used a white Lumia), what are some good options for the tile color scheme? I've got a white 1020 on order with free camera shell (yes, the long delayed orders from MS Online) and don't mind if the free camera shell is delivered white or black; either would be a cool look  But coming from a stock black gen1 Titan using the stock/stale blue theme I'm curious what others have used/tried and enjoy (especially if there are newer options with WP8 compared to the WP7 I'm coming from). Pics are certainly appreciated

Thnx for sharing,

I think it's something you need to test out yourself.

Most definitely but where else would I be able to see multiple shots of different color themes at the same time (if our peeps upload photos <cough, cough> ). Sure beats "select color, switch screen, scroll around, try it out" and lather, rinse, repeat as directed... Just thought it would be cool to get some screen shots of different options in-use as well as peoples' opinions on their choices

Olive tiles with a white Lumia looks so clean and professional. I had that on my white lumia 920 so much that I wanted to get the white 1020 but I went with the black 1020.

It kind of depends on what you like and what you have pinned to the start screen. I had a white Lumia and used a majority of the colors but remember that tiles like Xbox Games and Facebook stay their regular colors even with the theme change. High contrast mode is the best if you want unity with all the tiles.

I have a Yellow 1020 and this is what I'm working with now but it would look nice on white as well.

Echoing Steel as a the theme color. I haven't tried Olive, but also like Orange. Hook Em.

Switched to "Olive" theme but the color seems more green than greyish-green (like B1zzle's pix above). Is there a place to change the color's contrast/hue/blah/blah/blah to better reflect the above pix? B1zzle's olive rox...mine just kinda rox (closer to sux lol).

Try Settings - display + touch - Lumia Color Profile and tinker with the settings there. It is meant to help fine tune given AMOLED's varying color tendencies.

K; so I switched both "off". Both Color saturation and Color temperature are set all the way to the left so the color profile reads "Natural+Cool". B1zzle, is this how you're is set? Of course my computer monitor's colors will probably always look better than my phone but the phone doesn't seem to be matching the computer monitor :(

What is the calendar app you are using? Is that the stock calendar app for WP8? Because mine does not look like that on my Nokia Lumia 900 with WP7.8

I use the Light setting during the day and I switch to the dark setting at night very pleasant on the eyes when in bed or chillin on the couch. I'm also using Pink for my color scheme for Pinktober! I know this is kind of an old thread but just got my 1020 recently and just found this, hope everyone is enjoying there phones.
