Hello, I have a problem with battery gauge on my Lumia 920.

I have the phone for 15 days now and problem remains.

Here is what i've done with 3 different phones to demonstrate gauge bug on Lumia 920 :
- I have 1 Nokia lumia 920, 1 Nokia lumia 710 and 1 Apple iPhone 4.
- All phones are full battery.
- All phones are rebooted at the same time and i put them on airplane mode at the same time.
- I don't use phones. I let them on airplane mode.
- 24 hours later, iPhone 4 and Lumia 710 are almost full battery (more than 95%), the L920 is between 70 and 75 % charge. That is wrong for a 2000ma batt !!!!
- I reboot Lumia 920 ([volume down]+[power]) and then battery gauge jump to 94 % (a lot better for a 2000 ma battery after 24h use on airplane mode).

I'm disappointed with L920 battery gauge.

I have had iphone 3G, iphone 3GS, Nokia N95..... and i have never see a such bad battery meter.

I have empty L920 battery twice (self power down @ 0%) . There is no background task.

Each time i reboot L920, battery gauge add few %.

This morning battery meter says : 20 % and power save mode on. I press [volume down]+[power] a few seconds. L920 reboots and then battery metter says 64 % !!!!

If i reboot L920 everyday, battery lasts well.

There is clearly a bug on battery gauge of L920 (i'm not first user with exactly same problem here).

My sofware is 1308.0001 ( RM-821).

So i would like 2 things
- A software fix
- To know what happens when you reboot your L920 @ 20 % battery ([volume down]+[power] a few seconds)

Thanks for reading and excuse me for my poor English.

We know. Everyone knows. Nothing we can do about it till Microsoft releases an update.

I am not sure if GDR2 addresses this issue.

With GDR2 battery meter seems improved. It seems more accurate.

My phone lasts longer with little use.

But it is not perfect. Battery meter stills can jump from 85% to 93 with a simple reboot. Or from 24 to 55 %. (before it was 12% to 76%)

I think L920 is on right way. i'm happy with it.

Still have this problem with Black Update.:unhappysweat: I had this update by OTA.

I will try to flash my phone with NSU. NSU resets some battery internal calibration settings. But i don't believe it will help me.

I have a **** phone
