Volume Goes to Zero When Headphones Plugged In

I hooked up the Purity headphones to listen to the radio, and the volume suddenly went to zero. It would not let me raise it, and I was unable to close the app. I wad forced to reboot.
I usually use BT, so it isn't a game changer. More of a nuisance.

This happened with a certain 3.5mm plug that I used to use as well, it would go randomly down and not able to raise the volume unless I unplug it.

When I used my car jack, it will keep pushing the volume down. Not sure if it's static interference from the car jack or something. When you try to raise the volume, It will let you but the jack will keep lowering it.
