Microphone Issues

Microphone doesn't work when using Speak commands (holding home button), recording video, clips in OneNote, etc.
I believe this would be the top microphone near the headset jack, am I right?

However, the microphone DOES work in speakerphone, so this would lead me to think it's a software issue, not a hardware issue.

Is something on mute, a setting gone rogue, or do I need to hard reset? I once bricked the phone, flashed it using the NokiaCare utility, and then recently updated OTA. No problem after NokiaCare, but started a few weeks after.

Try a hard reset, if it still does not work contact Nokia for support.
