I wonder to buy 32GB Class 10 flash card from Kingston... will this card work fine with L820 ? Or I should look after another card manufacturer ?

I've seen some conversations over at Nokia Discussions and some folks came to a conclusion that Kingstons' don't work properly or even aren't detected by the phone. They tried Samsungs' and they work perfectly. If I just mention the choice of the Class - excellent :).

I read a lot of threads before getting mine. I saw that Kingston is not good, SanDisk is rather hit and miss and Samsung seems to work well (no reported issues). My 32Gig Samsung Pro is excellent and much faster than basic class 10 requirements.

Still have 8GB Class4 Kingston from my old phone :D ... So i should choose Sandisk or Samsung ?

Put it like this; I have not yet seen a single post stating that a Samsung card doesn't work properly. The same cannot be said of Kingston and Sandisk cards. Low capacity cards seem to work from most makes but high capacity (16g and up) and high speed (over class 4) tend to be iffy with some makes. I suggest Samsung if you want to be pretty sure it will work. Try the others if you like to gamble.

I have a 64GB Sandisk in my 820 and it works just fine. I had a 16GB Sandisk before that and it worked just fine also. The 64 is a SDXC card with a 30mb/s rating. Its very fast and consistant. Can't speak on any of the others. fdalbor
