Lumia 720 AMBER update INDIA release date 12-Aug-2013

I'm confused right now. Amber update was supposed to ramp up the ISO from 800 to 3200. But its still 800 here in default camera app and in Nokia Pro Cam too.

Tell me one thing. Does the default camera also change in amber? If it doesnt I will be very happy.

No changes in UI but yes, algorithms has been improved.

2hr net
1 hr calling
tinkering with phone for 30 mins
20-25 photos
night 9 pm : battery left : 85%

It also depends on how internet is accessed from the device. 2g consumes less power than 3g. And somehow i don't know why, but WiFi is supposed to consume more power than 3g as a general rule.
But in Windows phone 8 devices it doesn't. I can browse consuming less power using Wifi

2-3 hrs of WiFi , 20mins of 2g net, music for 20 mins, games for max. 15 mins. Use whatsapp for 20-30 mins. Net is off when not needed.

Yes. Battery drain is quite low when phone is connected to WiFi as opposed to 3G.

I'd suggest you to switch to Battery Saver whenever you're not connected to internet because you wouldn't be needing live tiles or notifications anyway. Also keep location off when not needed.

I'm not sure about this but I read somewhere that after Amber we'd be able to move/store maps in the memory card. Any idea on how to do this guys? I'm unable to find any options to do so. I've about 300mb of maps in my internal memory.

There is no need for you to wait for Amber update to move your maps to SD card. Just install Lumia Storage Check beta app from Store. Please note that u cannot move existing maps to SD card. So after installing this app just delete your existing maps. Then open this app you will see an option to save your maps to SD card. Tick that. Now redownload your maps. Enjoy.

its saying please connect the device.
and in device manager driver shoing ? on RM-885|lumia 720.
can please provice the link for the driver as i am not geting it

Remove the proxy before installing.

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager and try again.

Hi Guys, One query for those who have installed Amber Update:- While using SD Card and accessing Music Library or clicking photographs, there is a 2-3 sec lag/freeze. Can you pls update what is the status now (p.s. I am using Samsung Class 6 memory card)
