Ending a Call Waiting Call

I've been doing some Googling on this topic so apologies first if this has already been asked/answered.

The test case is:

1. Call A is received and answered,
2. Call B is received as a call waiting call and you click on Answer. On the top, the notification bar shows that Call A is on hold,
3. Call B call has ended and I want to end that call and return back to Call A

The odd thing is, if from the Call B screen, I click on End, it ends both Call A and Call B. How do I end just call B so it returns me to Call A?

I have a Nokia 928 with Verizon.

According to the online FAQ when the 2nd call comes in you tap the "Tap to Swap" bar at the top. Then when you finish the 2nd call you tap it again to return to the 1st call. I presume the 2nd line hangs up when the 2nd caller does. . .
