Price of 1020 in Japan?

Hi all!

I recently found out I was getting kicked off my work's verizon phone plan... Boo... Now I must pay for my own plan...

WHOO HOO, 1020!!!

So I will be living in Japan for 3 months, and by tuesday I must decide if I want to buy my 1020 here in America's Microsoft Store, or in Tokyo.

Any advice would be super helpful! I am not sure if I buy a phone in tokyo, will it look different? Will there be no ATT logo? Will I be able to use it with ATT when I return home? Will it be in Japanese? How much will it cost?

So many questions, so little available information on search! Hoping someone here can help me! Thank you.

I do not even see the 1020 (or any Lumia devices for that matter) on Nokia's Japanese site. サポート - Nokia - Nokia.com

Lelz! It is quite impossible to get the Lumia 1020 in Japan since they are still stuck to Windows 7.8 and Nokia's last phone to reach Japan is a variant of N95.
This is partly Microsoft's fault of not convincing Japanese carrier's like Softbank, Docomo or KDDI to help support the platform and launch new phones.
Japanese companies also does not develop applications for Windows Phone.
