GDR 2 on Three

Has anyone on three uk received the gdr2 update yet would be nice to see when it is available

Hi Martin,

I would expect to see a blog post by one of the WPCentral writers when GDR2 is available on Three. They usually post something when carriers release updates.

Spoke to HTC today regarding the update and they have advised me it is still being pushed out and works on serial number and how old the handset is basis, so older serial will get it first

Just received the GDR2 update plus two others today on my HTC 8S (Network: Three UK). There were two updates to the OS, including GDR2, and then a 'HTC Windows Phone' update.

When did you get your phone? It could help determine the time you'll get it. I got mine in January...so one of the earliest...

Got it beginning of March so it shouldn't be long then, I hope

On Three I've generally had updates quickly/early - but haven't had GDR2 yet, I do wonder if it's been held back because of the issues people have been having.

Just received GDR2 for HTC 8S purchased from Three in January. Takes a while to download & install. FM radio works well & seems to have cleared some "other storage" (but not all!!). Needs plenty of space to allow download so on 8S had to delete & reinstall some apps to allow this.

Not that I've seen. I'll try a hard reset today, since it can restore texts, apps, calls, etc. I'll let you know if it changes anything.

I think its just going to be a waiting game which will probably mean gdr 3 will be delayed, three support advised me that they don't have any updates to when it is being released they advised me they would update there twitter page when it was released to everyone
