Hi, I am new to Windows Phones, and I ended up getting a Nokia Lumia 928. I was able to use my SIM card and see my carrier's network after installing the access point app from the Windows Store. I can connect fine to my carrier's 2G network, but I can not connect to their 3G network. Is there something I am missing?

It's because Cincinnati Bell uses GSM for their 3G, and they also don't have LTE wireless, only the hspa+.... At least I think this is why you won't get their 3g

    That makes sense.

Cincinnati Bell uses the same HSPA+ bands as T-Mobile. An unlocked T-Mobile 925 would get 3G/HSPA+ on Cincinnati Bell.
