    uh... not sure how could this have happened but as I was charging up my phone.. i decided to turn off my data connection but still shows TMOBILE as provider under my Phone Tile.. i mean, shouldn't it supposed to show something like "No Connection" or something?!.. and surprisingly still able to receive text messages!?.. WTF!?..

    I don't believe texting uses the cellular data network, it uses the cellular phone network. As long as you have a sim and active phone account you can send and receive texts.

    LOL... You wouldn't be able to get picture or video messages, but regular texts are able to come through without your data turned on. But you already know this.
