Suddenly none of the applications open !!!

I have a Lumia 820 and I recently updated to GDR2.

But quite often and suddenly my applications fails to launch. Like none of the applications apart from People, photos and few other inbuilt will open. Even settings will not open, I can see the tile going down after the touch and Nothing happens !! I need to restart it to work properly, and its really annoying at times.

Does anyone else have faced this problem ? any solutions ?

Happened with me today....n m not on gdr2...i hv 520....dnt knw d reason...but its not gdr2

Happens to me too,no GDR2 yet. Lumia 820

Did you try to restart your phone? Turn off and on, not default factory reset.

This is the first that we need to try to solve any problems with any smartphone.
