We don't know the exact size. The FCC report makes it look like 4.7ish inches, an inside source that posts at WPC said less than 5 inches. I haven't heard anywhere that it'll be 5.3.

I meant 5.2, but anyhow, I heard a rumor from windowsphonedaly that there would be a successor to the 820. I have mistaking the 820 with the 928. So yeah, I thought this was the phone they were talking about(929). Also, don't post while intoxicated, Guys.

Is it really 5"? I have the 8x and it feels good but am looking to upgrade soon if I can find another device I like especially if it really has more than 16gb of storage. Removable storage with a FM Radio would be great also.

Hope this device doesn't make it to the UK! Not really, looks a fantastic device. Just ordered a 1020 yesterday after only the 6" devices being announced at Nokia World. Maybe would have been a tad too big also, pushing it with a 1020 as I've been using small devices for years. Not had such a big device since a 7650 many years ago.

Great to see all aluminium phone once again from Nokia, though these Verizon designs just look horrible.
Hopefully global version will have different design.

The internal hardware (assuming it is the snapdragon 800) is going to be significantly more powerful than the 1020.
The camera at 20mpx wont be as good.
1080p screen most likely as well. But the 1020 would technically support it with GDR3 (not sure if it would actually get 'upgraded' to it though)

Those would be the major differences.

is it safe to say that the 1020 would be the only phone that will have a better camera?

We don't have any firm dimensions on this phone yet, do we?
I don't think so, but since my 1530 size estimation was off by only off by 1mm, I referred back to that estimation and saw that I did one for a 5.0" device. My guess is 141.7mm x 72.4mm (5.58" x 2.85"). That's 0.45" taller and 0.06" wider than a 920. Given that Verizon's variants have been a few mm tall, the height might go to 144mm. Of course, this is based only on some math and some guesses -- you can read my method at http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1520/239872-device-size-estimation.html#5.

We don't have any firm dimensions on this phone yet, do we? In other threads I'm hearing folks compare the size to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as well as the Sony Xperia Z1.

For giggles, here is a link to Phone Arena with the Lumia 1520, Note 3 and Xperia Z1 in comparison to look at their dimensions.

Here's the picture. It was posted by a leaker on WPC that has since deleted all the photos and the video from his youtube account.: Lumia-929_2-455x610.jpg

If that's the note 3, then it does look a bit smaller than it. But not .95 inches smaller.
