920 v 1020 screen comparison. Anyone got both? I have.

Hi, Got a 1020 and 920 side by side here and as best as possible I've calibrated them to the same screen settings.

I just noticed a difference in appearance of text on a screen that perplexes me.
Visit a regular wesbite with dark text on a white background, e.g. Latest news, world news, sport and comment from the Guardian | theguardian.com | The Guardian (desktop mode) and click on any story.
Compare the text in the headline. Doesn't the 1020 looks less clear? If you zoom in, the differences become neglible, of course. And it may mean very little in real-world practice terms.

But can someone confirm I'm not imagining it. And is this down to slightly superior screen type on L920?

Lumia 920 has LCD display which has 3 sub pixels per pixel while 1020 has AMOLED display which has only 2 sub pixels that's why 920's screen seems a bit sharper..

Noticed something else. On swiping, e.g. from home screen to list of apps, I get a bit of 'tearing' of the font - is that the same reason? It's there on the 920 but less obvious, I feel.

I don't know actually I don't own any of them.. Gonna get 920 soon though..

I have both and prefer the feel of the glossy 920, not exactly sure why. But I just like the hand feel better.
