email/sms/calendar notification/Alert sound during a call

The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting:unhappysweat. Is it possible to disable that weird sound? Thank u:excited:

Settings > Ringtones and Sounds.

Seems the obvious place to look i would have thought, much easier to check a phones options than create a forum post.

mylfx, I know exactly where you're coming from and no, Jupast, the answer isn't "hang on a second while I dig thru settings to disable all notifications while I'm on this call and then remember to go re-enable them once I'm done with the call so I can get alerts again."

This is such an annoyance, so loud and disruptive, as to make me consider chucking the device. :angry:
