    Hey there!

My Lumia is acting very weird, the battery indicator can sometimes show for example 14% and then i restart it and its up on 90% whats up with that?
I have tried to get the battery fully uncharged and then charging it to full but it doesent work...

Is there anybody out there with the same problem?

I have the same problem, do not listen to the guy that suggests battery is "deffective". This is of course just another bug in this OS, it can not calculate battery properly.

@realwarder can you please explain how a battery can get more energy by the mere action of rebooting? and how is this a deffect?

I'm having the same problem, only started within the past month or so. Unfortunately my 920 is about 3 weeks out of warranty and neither Nokia nor my carrier are lenient on fixing it without paying a crazy repair fee. My camera flash also stopped working around the same time.

I have the same problem, tried reseting the phone, soft and hard but it just comes back after a day or two after the reset. Using wireless fatboy pillow charger and the normal charger that comes in the box. any ideas on this? my phone is still in warranty, is it the defective battery or what? should i replace the phone?

Clearly a battery cannot get 'more energy', that would be a neat trick :)

With batteries that have bad cells, if you put a heavy load on them the voltage falls and can give a low battery indication (if a voltage detection circuit is used). When the load is removed, the voltage can recover. Given my experience of hot 920's, that indicates the phone can put a heavy load on the battery at times (causing a low reading), which after a reboot typically fixes itself when the phone then sips power (which could cause a higher reading).

Could equally be a faulty battery gas gauge IC on some units. It's unlikely to be 'just another bug in this OS' because then everyone's phone would do it. And most don't...

Well, im sure that the battery is fine because I changed the battery from another 920 that worked just fine, except a cracked glas.
