    Lumia 720, Amber update.

The recipient of an SMS received a modified version of a text I composed.

The text received by the recipient was a message made up of the last half of the message I just composed, plus part of the content of a message sent about two months ago and located in the same thread. This happened without any trace or warning whatsoever on my phone.
My phone shows the correct original message and the other phone has a modified version.

The thread I am referring to contains a large number of SMS. The thread on my phone is complete, whereas on the other phone the older messages have been deleted. The other phone is an Android phone.

Did anybody ever stumble on such a weird problem?

    Thank you for commenting.

That's really weird. It sounds like something related to the backup and restore of your SMS.
