Lumia 920 wont open .zip and .xls files

Hi,

I downloaded some zip files via Internet Explorer and I can't open them. It says "Tap to open" after downloading but nothing happens when I tap the screen.
Same story with .rar , .7z and some .xls files.

Meanwhile, .doc files (Word) and other Office formats, music and videos open without any problems.

I downloaded app called Archiver to open other compressed files other than ZIP but nothing happened.

I restarted my phone, cleared cache in IE - didn't helped. Office works good, it opens everything I throw at him.

Windows Phone 8 does not support .zip and .rar file downloads.

Windows Phone 8 does not support .zip and .rar file downloads.

I am new at Windows Phone but I found on several places that WP8 can handle zip files:

I am fairly certain that archiver can handle .7z and zip files.

I also have problem with .xls files. Maybe there is some compatibility issue.

.xls files can be opened but not edited. I've done it several times, no issues.
.xlsx files can be edited.

So, if IE downloads zip file, it is on SD, right? So I should close IE, open Archiver and then extract it. A bit longer procedure but still possible.
