Glad they didn't release a phone with a btter camera than the 1020

Anyone else breathe a sigh of relief when there wasn't a 1080p 41mp phone announced today? I knew that leaks pretty much confirmed it wasn't.. but my god I would be annoyed if they did. Got my 1020 2 weeks ago.

I was gutted when I got my 920 - only 1 year ago.
then they released the 925, then the 1020.
So a double-blow within 1 year! lol - hence I was hoping for the 1020 to be superceded, then I'd get that one

Eventually will be fine, but so soon after the 1020 would be a huge kick in the gut for everyone who jumped on it. Especially considering the high price.

My guess would be mid 2014 for a proper cameraphone from Microsoft..

my wet dream is 1 inch sensor with a fat xenon flash I really hope the new CEO has the balls to tell the carriers to chill a little bit.. I would actually buy it straight from Microsoft without any contracts like I've always done with my phones.

I don't understand why they can't have some "limited edition" cameraphone with strong incline towards photographers? = big 1" FSI sensor, true colors etc.

sell only couple of thousands it doesn't matter, just have it as a good marketing
