The SIM-free cost of the Nokia Lumia 1520 was announced as $749 (or ?464) - but it's possible we might have to pay a little more in the UK.

I'd love it to be ?464.
I've been avoiding buying the 925 for a while now as the price is still around ?450 SIM free.
Also find it so frustrating that you can get "grey" imports of the 925 for just over ?300.
Pity the Nokia warranties aren't worldwide.

$749 is suggested price before taxes. So if its 464 pounds you'll have to add 20% VAT to it. So it'll easily be around 520-550 pounds.

$199 on subsidy...$749 off? I'm sorry but that should be illegal. There is No WAY someone, either ATT or Nokia, is footing the bill for $550 bucks in subsidy. This is price fixing plain and simple.

It says $199 on subsidy and $599 off contract. Sounds reasonable considering the iphone is $199/$649

While I appreciate the UK version has 32GB memory and wireless charging, it still feels considerably more expensive than the 1520 from AT&T in the US.
Oh well, I guess it was way to optimistic to think it would be under ?500.
