Verizon HTC 8X GDR 3?? WHEN??

Anyone know when we can expect this? I called customer service and they told me they know 1-2 months prior to the update and still they have no information. I am assuming the lady didnt know what she was talking about. At least I hope.

I got it thu the developer route as well. It was easy, but I've noticed some hesitation when launching programs occasionally.

It's clear that HTC has already given out the update to carriers, given that AT&T has already dished it out. The blame like always is shifted to Verizon. Don't expect it soon.

If I update through the developer program, will I still get the formal update when it comes out?

I'd like to know as well. My buddy joined and he said the update was different but it wasn't 8.1 can anyone confirm if it is actually 8.1?

The update is GDR 3 (or Update 3).

Just go to that page and it'll ask you to enter your email and password and accept some terms. That's it. Then download the app (I don't have that store link right now, but it should be easy to find on wpcentral) and update and you're done. No money required.
