So I have an iTunes library on a Win XP machine that I finally got around to copying over to my 928 using Windows Explorer. The audio files are a mix of the mp3 and m4a formats. However, only the mp3 files appear on the phone. I'm unable to see the m4a files at all unless I connect to the PC and view them in explorer. The songs play fine in iTunes and I've checked to make sure that they're not protected in any way.

I'm sure that the 928 supports m4a. Any ideas? Maybe I'll just have to convert them all. Help I just want to stop using iTunes!!

I don't have any this kind of problem because I don't have any music on my 928))
Why dont you download and Install Format Factory software ( its free) on your PC and convert all the m4a files to .mp3 format

Ps. Never seen m4a format

Thanks for the help/suggestions! Just ended up converting all to mp3 and they work great.

I didn't think the files were protected but they must've been. I tried a couple of m4a files from another source and those didn't work either.
