Volume Level Drops

The Volume level on my 720 will randomly drop down to 13, when i always keep it set at a level of 25. Is my phone faulty, or is this a bug with the Lumia 720?

That's normal. I believe it applies to all European Nokia phones. If you switch off your phone and back on again the volume will always go to the 'default' value of 13. When my phone gets turned off I always have to remember to bump the volume up a bit when I switch it back. It's something to do with EU regulations.

Not sure why, but this happens with my Malaysian (APAC region) 720 too.

One possible reason could be if you have enabled kids corner.

If I listen to music too loud when using headphones, the Vol level drops to 13 with a message stating "Hearing music too loud will cause permanent hearing problems". Think its a safety feature. I don't have Kid's Corner enabled.

I do get the same message sometimes, but it doesnt stop me from increasing beyond 13. It doesnt drop automatically also.
