It seems the 1520 will record better video in louder areas, concerts, etc. Anyone see how the 1520 camera is compared to the 1020? Pixels aren't everything but I'm wondering if there will be a big difference.

There are comparison photos with the 920, and it's a bit less noisy. Even though pixels are not everything, the 1520 uses a "slice" of the 1020 camera so the individual pixel size is the same. It's literally just a 1020 camera cut in half. The picture quality will be worse. But you're right, audio recording will be better.

Ya my 1020 is great ay concerts, small venues, rock music...where my LG G2 was all distorted! The 1020 was great! I'm sure for the most part the camera will be very good on the 1520, just find it interesting no one is talking about the picture quality when compared to the 1020.

Hardware: 1020 better than 1520 with large aperture, bigger sensor, Xenon > led, same IOS, same Zeiss. CPU only make 1520 take the photos faster, not better in IQ
Software: now, 1520 better than 1020 with Black and newer algorithm. But in the future, 1020 ll go with Black and the same algorithm, maybe with RAW support like 1520.
So, with better camera hardwares (not CPU), I m sure that the photos on 1020 will be better than the photos on 1520.
And I can see Nokia divides 1020 and 1520 for 2 different end-users:
1020 for photography
1520 for business man

Ya I like my 1020 and do like the 1520 as well but with all the recent rollouts in the past day and half I think I'll stick with the 1020. I enjoy photography....far far far from an expert but having the options the 1020 offers is great! I love on the other hand the 1520 for browsing and videos but can't see myself taking pics with it just too large for me. Also video recording is still pretty damn good imo on the 1020! Maybe the next model of the 1020 will have a 5" display?? Who knows
