Nokia has taken care of this problem for you, preemptively, dear consumer.
Your 1020 has no SD compatibility whatsoever.
If you mean the SIM card, then, well…

With a clothespin or a needle or other small, straight object, slip the end of the utensil into the hole to the left of your headphone jack on your 1020 (the one on your SIM tray). The internal lever will catch and release the drawer your SIM is nestled into. Remove SIM, and enjoy.

That is correct. There is no microSD card slot in the 1020.
