Hey All, thinking about getting the 1020. Went to the AT&T store and I was surprised at how light it was. Guess I've been lifting too much with my 920. I was also surprised at the thinness. Anyway, a couple of questions:

1) if I select only 5MP shooting, is there still a delay between shots?
2) what's the pixel length and width of a 5MP image?
3) not really a 5MP question, but how close can you get to your subject (I heard not as close as a 920)?

TIA

Hi yeewiz, I have the 1020 so I can tell you a few things:

1) Using both the stock Camera app (which is 5MP oversampled) and the Nokia Camera app on 5MP oversampled I counted a 1-2 second delay between shots
2) in 16:9 aspect ratio it's 3072 by 1728; in 4:3 it's 2592 by 1936
3) Yeah, the focusing distance is a little annoying sometimes - whereas with most cameras you can get about 30mm away from your subject before it being out of focus the 1020 has an autofocus distance of about 160mm and 120mm if you're using manual focus. That said, you can always reframe, or use a macro lenses filter like AccentAE86 did in this forum post: http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...t-2-taking-1020-next-level-macro-edition.html , it's just a tiny downside to having this freaking awesome sensor in a phone :D
