Why Hasn't The 928 Received Any Minor Nokia Updates

I've seen the 920 and 925 receive minor software updates and tweaks to address issues from Nokia but I haven't seen anything of the such for the Verizon 928 and I've had it not long after launch. Have there been any updates pushed out aside from GDR2 for the 928? There's definitely a few things that needs addressing like the screen freezing and battery issues that could use a software update

It's possible that it's because the 928 isn't sold by any carriers beside Verizon. Those other devices are available on numerous carriers throughout the world.

I'm actually moving from AT&T (Lumia 1020) to Verizon (Lumia 928) for a few reasons, cost being one of them (25% on Verizon). I don't really need that much camera, and love that the 928 has built in wireless charging. Posts like these are making me think twice about my decision (I haven't ported my number over to Verizon yet. Hmmm)

I mean its not a major issue I have a small handful of problems with my phone just noticed on the update side of things the 925 always has some kind of minor update it would be nice to see those updates and tweaks pushed out to the 928 as well

I wouldn't be afraid to move to Verizon or the 928 that I have. Let's use basic math to put your fears to rest. Let's say that Verizon has sold 1 million 928's. Probably less than that but let's use round numbers. Let's say that 1000 of these have some sort of issues or problems. That's a very low percentage of the overall number sold that have a problem. Go for it or wait until year 2250 for Verizon to introduce the 929. Just kidding, they are slow but hopefully not that slow.

But in all seriousness, we don't really know when the NL929 is coming out. Could be this month, could be next, could be 6 months. We really don't know.

Not sure what updates you are referring to. We got GDR2+Amber the day after they dropped. I am running GDR3 as well. Nokia Black is not out yet. OS updates will come from MS from now on.

Seems like a good deal to me.
