Can you pair the Nokia 1520 with tablets via Bluetooth?

I tried to pair a Nokia 1520 with a Dell Venue 8 Pro and a Nokia 2520 via bluetooth and it refuses to stay connected. Has anyone pulled this off yet?

One of the big goals is to use the 1520's LTE data via the Dell Venue 8 Pro. I am trying to accomplish what this guy did here.

Just curious, but is tethering via the Internet Sharing functionality bot an option for you, or is this a just for fun thing?

On at&t branded smartphones internet sharing is disabled. Even if you pay full price for your device and take it to another network in a different country the phone will tell you to contact at&t to turn on internet sharing. Very annoying.

You can not Bluetooth tether with WP8. WP8 is missing the Bluetooth PAN profile which enables internet sharing over Bluetooth. What is happening in that post that you linked to is that your Venue 8 Pro is only initiating the internet sharing connection using Bluetooth but the actual internet sharing is done via Wi-Fi. It is impossible to share your internet connection over Bluetooth in WP8. Check out these threads:
