You seem to know more than I. I've only heard of the RM-937, which is the international model, the RM-940, which is the AT&T model and the RM-939, which is a 3G model only with no LTE. I take it the RM-938 is a 32GB model that you have heard about?

The AT&T variant has three changes from the International variant: 1) support for different LTE frequency bands, 2) only 16GB vs 32GB, and 3) built-in Qi wireless charging replaced by three pins on the back to accept power from a snap-on charging cover that uses the PMA wireless charging standard.

Nokia lists another Lumia 1520 variant called the RM-938, which they call the "U.S. version", which has the U.S. LTE bands, the full 32 GB storage memory, and Qi charging.

As best as anyone knows, the 938 variant is not actually available anywhere. What is available as of 12/26/2013 is the 937 outside of the U.S. and the 940 inside the U.S. from AT&T.

So just to be accurate because I am going to purchase the AT&T model tomorrow. The 1520 does NOT have built in wireless charging? And it comes standard with 16gigs with expansion.

Not convinced Popular Electronics ad is the RM938, they have the same 16gb as the RM940. They may be as confused as we are. I'm waiting to see 32 gb memory and wireless charging built in with USA radios.

Personally I am expecting this phone to be announced in Canada next month. It will be 32GB and penta-band. I don't know if it will be the RM938 or a variation of the RM940. I wish Nokia was more clear about their models.

Hey guys, following your discussion... Just found this site that sells RM-938 model; but the price looks unreal. Am I missing something? Is something fishy here?
Yeah.. No ratings anywhere and the price is too low for an off-contract phone. It's risky to buy it from them when no other source has confirmed the RM-938 arriving on the market. Buyer beware. Good catch, though!
