Screen , lcd or digitizer replacement

Hi : my phone recently fell and the screen is intact. However, when the screen goes to black backgrounds you can see green spots on it. The touch is working excellent and i do not see any scratches to the screen. I am trying to determine what needs to be replaced. . I want to be sure what needs to be replace. thanks

Let's look at the different components of the phone.

The screen or glass is called the digitizer. It is what gives you the touch functionality.
Below that is the LCD. It gives you the image/s.

Some phones have these two made together in one unit. It may be possible to separate the two, but you run the risk of damaging the one that is not damaged.

Some phones have the digitizer and LCD made as separate units. You simply replace the damaged one.

I don't know about the 1520, but I would guess they are made together. If you can find replacement parts for it, they may very well be very expensive since this phone was just released.
