Lumia 920 photo quality post black update

Just wanted to point out that there are like 4 people complaining about it, I don't think they would change the algorithm for just some random users, have you tried Photoshop to get the results you want?

it's not 4 people are complaining about, I paid a lot for this ''camera phone'', if you're happy with it, congratulations, I'm not.

Portico update made the camera awesome, with nice colors (for me), and amber was at the same level, but black ruined, although it has more detail, colors seems washed out..

Yes, we shall complain for juha to fix it, that's not how 920 was launched, it was a drastically change, if the camera was like THIS, I wouldn't buy it anymore. They should make better what they launched, not making drastically changes and dividing opinions

Well, I agree with you on that last one, the iPhone does not have this kind of problems, overall they seem pretty ok with the camera, have you tried other cam apps?

The black update has totally ruined the camera.More noise, washed out colors and the quality haw dropped significantly.

Does anybody tried video recording with Black update? I record a lot of videos of the concerts i go and last one was with Amber and it was good but with all the fuzz going on about camera with Black update i'm concerned about the video quality and sound quality too.

You have to look in a certain way to be able to notice. If you didn't notice then you would never be aware of the issue in the first place.

All camera apps except Camera 360 use Nokia's Camera API so they will all come out the same. Look a few post back and posted pictures of every camera app.

I have black and I recorded at one concert and the sound was very badly distorted... The concert was high decibels but I was expecting the 920's mics to do a better job. I didn't do any high decibel recording with amber to compare to.

Impressive sound and pictures, considering the lights flashing and changing colour.

My 920 takes great pictures and video so don't understand complaints about quality.

Um I love chvrches , another fact mother we share was the promo song for lumia 920
Regarding the video , one definitely hear the rich recording , there are sudden light changes in the concerts , so it's difficult for camera to focus in dark but here lumia 920 proved this very well that it still can handle low light photography and videography very well. I AM IMPRESSED

I actually found Chvrches through the Lumia 920 promo video, and I love their music. I'm lucky they came to my country earlier this year.

wow , lol I can not found the original video of mother we share since on YouTube the video was country restricted , but after some search on internet I finally found one , she is amazing singer with melodious voice <3

Though there isn't a way to fix the sharpness issue now, I've found a way to fix the green tint in photos, at least improving colours dramatically.

Using Fantasia Painter, using it's white point fix function, press and hold on a white background, and it should adjust the colours properly, though it might make it wrong exposed. To fix the exposure, adjust the intensity accordingly. http://imgur.com/N4iHQSN

And here's the final corrected image! Much much better and truer to life.
