Do we need to shoot at 5MP + 34MP for best quality?

I was wondering if it's necessary to shoot at two resolutions for the best quality? I have no need for 34MP images and they just take up space on my phone and I can't even delete them without resorting to a computer. So for all the oversampling to take effect, is it necessary to set it up to take two resolution pictures, or can I just use 5MP?

Yes you can..... There's this option in the Nokia camera setting, check it...

But you may want to reframe or zoom afterwards… without 5MP + 34MP you can't do that. If not then yeah, nvm.

You can just use the 5MP images but you will lose the possibility of cropping and editing from the full resolution image which can be extremely handy.
