I just checked for new updates, and lo and behold there was one. I am now running Black! My Firmware revision is 3051.40000.1347.0001

Hooray for me!

Ugh, this is the first time I've felt the limitations of the 16GB. Had to delete a bunch of video (650Mb worth), my downloaded maps (all USA), and a couple apps to free enough space for the update.

I have AT&T 925 and i dont have any update yet :(

I have a question..

My phone is unlocked. so I am using the phone in India with indian sim. Will that cause a problem in getting the Lumia black update?

If you want black right now you can update using NCS

followed this tutorial here
http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-925/231135-product-codes-lumia-925-a.html

This is my product code, to get AT&T branded firmware 059T0B7 but you can try any others

I also did what this person mentioned to get the phone to flash the firmware

Should not cause any problem with it, but your updates would be always depending on AT&T approvals I believe !!

Hey thanks for the info. I would try and do it tonight.

So if i use the above NCS method. My phone will be unbranded and it doesnt have anything to do AT&T any more?

What if i want to get my AT&T firmware back sometime later. Will it be a problem?

I know that AT&T disabled lot of features. Especially Highest Connection Speed. In India we have 3G . but my phone keeps looking for 4G and drains my battery pretty quick when i am on Data.

So if i update it with NCS, i will be getting all the disabled features working right?
