Do you really think they would sell a Verizon branded phone in China?
+1, I doubt Verizon is on board with this. I'd not be risking my money but just sayin' seems scam is written all over this.

Would the English language even be available on a Chinese phone? Chinese isn't on U.S. phones generally.
There are those old pics of the white version, but they re everything else than high resolution. I like the white slightly more because it reveals those aluminium sides.

Yep, I remember that pic of it. Looks sharp.
(I highlighted the bold bit).Other than the price tag as well as live photos of the Nokia Lumia 929, hardware specifications for this puppy has also been shared, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 system-on-a-chip, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 5” 1080p display, and a 20MP PureView camera to get you started right out of the box. Anyone interested in picking this puppy up when it becomes available?
That is not true, well part about where phones were built. I have my 4th Nokia and none of my Nokias was made in Finland. First 3 Nokias were built in Hungary ( Nokia 5200, 6220 Classic and Nokia C6-01) and now Lumia 820 is built in China.
Saw this...(I highlighted the bold bit).
This was on a page updated yesterday: http://www.ubergizmo.com/2014/01/nokia-lumia-929-goes-on-sale-in-china/
However, it looks like the article has been removed... but it's still on cached version:

32gb and a MicroSD slot ? If that is true, I will be getting this phone....
They're probably talking about the sim card slot...
They also say it has a much bigger battery size than we've seen in the leaked versions of the phone.
