$299 for 16gb model, and I'll sell my 920 to offset allot of that cost, or I can do the Next 18 for $22.50 a month.

My question is in regards to the 16gb or 32gb models. Should I just get the 16gb and buy an SD card if I need it or spend the extra for the 32gb model?

Get the 32 GB and get an SD card.
I can't tell you how i wish the 32 GB was available for me.

You'll want to download apps as time goes on and you don't want to be like me where i am constantly checking DO I HAVE ENOUGH SPACE?
I still have 8 GB of space left but i am coming from a 1020(and previously a 920) where i downloaded all my apps AND had my music/pics stored on my phone with 10 GB remaining.

I have music/photos on my SD card but the apps, especially games can't go there yet thus I have to be careful which games I download as i don't want to drop below 5 GB.

Besides, the price difference isn't that much between 16 GB and the 32 GB....Trust me, you'll want the 32 GB.

I got an early upgrade with the Lumia 1520 (white) too....they charged me $299.99 for it. The next day, I started a chat via the AT&T website, and told them that the 1520 is $199 in the stores and online, yet I was charged 299.99. By the end of the chat, they credited my account over a hundred dollars. Call back, or start up a chat on their website asap, and you'll get $100+ credited to your account.

16GB is MORE than enough. I have a 64GB Extreme Plus Micro SD card....and all my music, videos, and photos are stored on there. Apps is all that I need the 16GB for...and you can have A LOT of apps with 16GB. I have about 100 apps and I still have over 8GB left free

If you play a lot of games, get the 32gb. Otherwise, I would think 16gb with a memory card should be enough. If it was me, I'd get the 32gb just to be safe. You never know what apps you might want to put on your phone in 6 months, etc. I originally purchased a 16gb version, and within a few days I knew that wasn't enough. It's actually quite amazing to know you aren't constrained by the memory on app installs.

BTW, some people will say "MS is coming out with an update that allows apps on the SD card so stick with 16gb" but that is purely conjecture at this point. They might come out with that update, by why guess?

If you like black, get the 32 gb. If you like choice, get the 16 gb. also, the 8.1 upgrade is rumored to allow app storage on sd cards so, fingers crossed!
