It's been a month and a half since this post: http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...-lumia-1520-t-phone-solution.html#post2258796 and I wonder how many people bought the shells off ebay and if they arrived yet from Spain. It seems like they won't work on our ATT RM940s. Have you been able to return them to the seller? If you are stuck with yours, I'd like to contact you and see if we can dissect it to see if we find anything else. Maybe dissect the Qi coil to get info. I've been really curious about Qi on the (BIG) 1520
My experience with http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1520/249859-3.htm#post2256325 Qi is that the 1520 is so much larger than the 920 and it can be off center and still sit on the charger. I notice it requires more placement precision and even then it might not charge optimally if not centered. If anyone has a qi shell that they can't return or use otherwise, I'd like to mess around with it. Could you take off the sticker and measure the size of coil, how many times its wound...etc. I'd like to do some comparisons to the 920 one I have. It'd be nice to get some pictures of the disassembled one if you have the time.
One benefit of this community is that we can bounce ideas off each other and learn to mod & tweak these phones. If anyone else has any ideas on things we can learn from the international Qi shell, please chime in as well.
