My Ativ is new again

I have to write a small post about this.

I have dropped my Ativ S quite a few times, also on asphalt. Unblievable the screen has no scratches or anything, only the bezel and the back door were scratched. The bezel had major dents in it, also the chrome was gone in many places, so it didnt look that good. I bought a new bezel and back cover from eBay for $21 and changed them yesterday. Opened 7 screws and with a accompanied tool removed the bezel from the rest of the assembly. Popped the assembly to the new bezel, put the screws back and voila; the phone is brand new again.

Its amazing this phone just keeps giving, first the unlock and extra functions and now it was super easy to make it back to brand new again.

Glad your having good luck with yours, mine didn't survive a 2 foot drop to ceramic tile.
Good thing eBay has replacement screens for cheap

Hey, changing the screen, was it easy and how how much it cost for you? Friend was thinking about it because he has scratches on it.
