Push Notifications and a strange situation

Hey! I have a Lumia 1020 with the Black Update and push notifications are very odd.
Sometimes they're working fine and smooth, but some others i have to open whatsapp to see what's going on, and Facebook notifications are shown late as well as Instagram

do you know what's happening here? what should i do?

I have the same problem sometimes... WP8 needs to improve.

I will say something strange, but you will think somehow it make sense:
my push notifications, started to improve with time. At first, 4 months ago when i had an 720, they didnt work at all. On my 928 they started to work, slowly, until when i sold it one month ago, it was working pretty good. Now on my 1020, it works perfectly. I think it can be related somehow that the network takes some to "understand" the phone configurations, and start to work properly, i will give an example:
Everytime i change my phone (for an new one) windows phone site, takes weeks to understand i got an new phone
