Locking issue

Being tired of the standard Android/iPhone experience I decided to go and get myself a Lumia 521, just to get a taste of Windows Phone 8,

And I must say that I am loving every single bit of it, although there is one issue whenever I lock it, the screen doesn't fully turn off, it shows a dark screen for a few seconds that I can't do anything about, then the screen actually turns off. I've been having this issue ever since I updated to GDR3

Do a soft reset, that might fix it. Hold both volume down+power button till it restarts.

I did that but it didn't restart it just turned off, oddly I had to let go and turn it on myself, lock screen still bugging me ):

I had same problem, black update fixed it.

How do I get the black update? I've been trying to get it for a while now but to no avail...

Well, I have 520 and got update few days ago (I live in Finland). So i don't know about 521 updates.

P.S.- Reading you Tapatalk signature, I get the information that you are from North America and you mentioned that you are using 521. So I checked in the link I mentioned above, there is only one L521 (T-Mobile) and is waiting for approval. You should get your updates in some days.
