2 versions of each photo settings option?

I just copied all the photos from my 1520 to my computer and there are 2 versions of each photo -- one is generally 1-2MB in size, the other is generally 4-6MB in size. I use the Nokia Camera app by default. Is there a way to set my camera to take/keep only 1 of these when I take a photo? Or at least when i do the photo transfer to my computer, can I have it set that it will only pull the higher-res ones to the computer? Thanks in advance.

In Nokia Camera settings you can select just 5mp, other than that its 16mp+5mp
