Question about charging?

Hey guys, I've been lurking but now that the Icon is announced, I just picked up two Nokia Charging Plates.

Question though, will the new Icon charge with a case on it? If so, does it have to be a specific brand of case or kind of case?

I'm coming from the S4 and have been an Android guy and want to make the switch. I've been using Otterbox commuter cases, but no sure if that will even work for the QI chargining.

I use the fairly thin Nokia cover for my 920 and it does not interfere with Qi, so we have some leeway.

But does anyone know how thick a case can be before it causes issues?
