well I love my 1020 and to be honest when I see phones like the s5/s4/htc one I hpnestly think but what have they innovated? they have bigger screens , faster cpus , better gfx chip , but they are just literally upgraded slabs with more oooomph and resoloution lol

this is why I found it nice to read that the nokia 1020 had won the most innovative phone award just recently , its great too see the camera tech get recognised , great too see that it wasn't slated for only having a dual core s4 chipset , great too see the 720p screen get recognition because of the handy tech like clear black display and super sensitive touch and great too see a windows phone pick up this award in a pond full of android power houses

nokia have been bringing great , useable tech just recently in forms of cameras that give us great images in night or day , screens that can be used in even the brightest of suns , wireless charging into the public eye and trying to bring a standard to it and much more and these things are much more usefull then eye scrolling and fingerprint recognition

hats off to the judges for recognising nokias innovation and hats of to nokia for their hard work just recently

read through the forums mate there is plenty of this covered in the 1020 section and a great search tool as well to help you find the posts ;-) while you rooting about have a look at the 1020 photo forum and check out all the ''non yellow'' pictures that have been taken by users of the 1020 ;-)

also a quick tip if your using xenon flash and finding your shots look a bit amber to you , either put it in sports mode or speed the shutter up a bit , one of the reasons the 1020 pics come out yellow is the auto setting when using xenon flash chooses a slower shutter speed and higher iso then need be to make the scene look more ''atmospheric'' what it actually does is let in yellow/amber light from other light source like wall lights/street lights/tv/etc etc instead of just using the white light from the xenon flash

also don't forget that amoleds screen colours can be slightly off so maybe check the photos you think are yellow out on a high definition screen to see the beauty of the shots

I use the 1020 as my main phone/camera all the time , I am actually selling prints that I make with it and now only use my slr for specialist times like when I shoot all night partys in clubs for the people doing the nights , like I said above I suggest searching through the forums this ''yellow'' subject has been covered many times and is pretty much spot on with black apart from the shutter time when using xenon ;-)

My iPhone5 also makes my pictures yellow-ish, almost as if I had supplied a sepia effect…………..
