The 820 has some advantages over the 920 besides cost. It has a SD slot (I have a 64gb card in mine) and 8.1 will allow apps run from the card, it has a removeable battery, it has colorfull wireless charging back covers, it is more than a half inch smaller even though the screen is only .2 of a inch smaller than the 920 (I like small phones), it has a beautiful amoled screen (great color rich), the camera is good (not as good as the 920 though), you can get a unlocked 820 for about 200$. Worth every penny.

If you have the luxury of time I say wait buddy. Because by the time MS controls the production of hardware and software we may see integration and harmony between them as we see how apple do things. Also I think 8.1 devices will feature more capable hardware.

judging by user name you are an Indian... Cheers ... If you are getting it cheaply go for it less than 15k INR ... Else wait till may ... You will have minimum 3 devices ...but they will cost you a minimum of again 15k INR ,but then that will be for the lowest specification model as they will have new os and stuff.... So comparitively 820 will be on par with those devices ... But camera of 820 will be better is what I reckon....(15k price ranged phone) If cheap get it and use dev preview to get 8.1 ... And welcome aboard the windows bandwagon

First suggestion is to get your Keyboard checked out. Your Question Mark key appears to be stuck.

One is sufficient to get your point across.

I've read a comment on this forum that with recent updates, the battery life has improved somewhat. For used phones, it may be worthwhile to buy a new battery, as they are cheap. Mine is arriving in the next few days. I'm excited about it.

Your best bet is the 820, it's just an overall better phone than the 525, you get a better rear camera, front facing camera, a better processor, better screen quality, better future-proofness.

The 820 is a much better phone than the 525. I have a 820 and my wife and daughter each have 520's. (same as 525 except for the 1meg of memory in the 525). While the 520/525 is a good phone it is not in the same league as the 820. 820 has better screen, dual band wifi, NSF, much faster processor, much better camera, front and back camera, flash, wireless charging, etc. Unless you cannot find a 820 (Amazon has them) only then would I get the 520, though I do have a 520 myself as a backup in case something happens to my 820. I usually get two days plus a few hours in battery life in my 820; but even under heavy usage I get about a day and a half. The 520/525 gets about three days of use so it does last a little longer than the 820.

I have an 820 and I'm very disappointed with the battery life. If you like playing a lot of power hogging games, or watch videos then this phone will disappoint you. Go for the 920 if you can. This phone will only give you 4-5 hrs on high usage (games, video, messaging combined).
