Issue with earphone jack

Hi I hope this is not a silly question but I noticed that my original lumia earphone does not go all the way into the jack. I tried pushing it without any luck. I have attached a photo of my phone. Just wondering if you guys' earphones are like this too. Is this just how the phone has been designed or did I not push hard enough? Thanks

That is all the way in the jack...if you noticed the plastic dips there. So it looks like it's seated properly, albeit not in a manner that looks so.

If you're getting sound from both ears and you have to pull a tiny bit to get it to release, then it's in.

Thanks so much! Yeah the earphone is working fine, I just thought it looked a bit odd that way lol
